We stayed 2 nights at the Vibe Hotel on Queensland’s Gold Coast.

The Vibe hotel is well located and easy walking distance to all Surfer’s Paradise offers. There is a shopping area just across the road with supermarkets, chemists and a few dining options and just beyond that is Surfer’s Paradise’s Cavill Avenue, a hive of activity with cafes, bars, shopping and attractions such as Ripley’s Believe it or not. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel with routes serving the theme parks.

The rooms are very clean and bright ours had a balcony and a bath tub in the bathroom. Our room offered a double and a single bed.

This hotel is an awesome option for Gold Coast exploring as the prices are so reasonable for the quality of the rooms. Look around online and you will likely find deals for around $90 AUD per night. There is a hotel pool but we were far too busy exploring to use it and the weather wasn’t amazing on our stay.

Breakfast is the only let down in this hotel. There is also some confusion on the pricing for kids. Reception said The Wandering Child was free for breakfast but upstairs in the cafe I was charged over $20 for his breakfast. There are much better options available nearby for less than the $20 per head. Take a walk to Surfers and you are bound to find better breaky deals. Aside from the value factor breakfast was so-so.

Rooms are comfy and clean many with nice views from their balcony. Beds are comfy and the location is fab. If you’re on a budget and not needing to be beachfront then Vibe Gold Coast gets my vote.
