We visited Tiger Kingdom in Phuket (they are also at Chiang Mai) and were delighted with the experience.
Kids are only allowed in with the smallest of tiger cubs whilst brave adults can go in a cage with the large tigers. My little boy and I spend around 20 mins in with 4 gorgeous little tiger cubs, they alternated snoozing and playing and they are so so unbelievable gorgeous.
You are able to pat and cuddle the tigers and the handlers will give very detailed instructions on what you can and cant do and how the cats like to be patted. This truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity.
Going in with the baby tigers costs around $20 per person and you can pay an additional fee to have a photographer take photos of your cuddles with the cubs (we recommend this service, it makes it so much easier to enjoy the experience and you know you will have great snaps to take home on CD).
We have heard rumours that kids that are there on opening time are sometimes given the chance to bottle feed the babies. I recommend getting there early as this is a very popular attraction and only a certain number of tickets are sold per day.
Some photo souvenirs are also available and are not too pricey my son loves showing off his Tiger Kingdom t-shirt featuring him cuddled up with a tiger.
This is a great experience and one that the kids will not forget anytime soon. Two thumbs up!!
