We arrived at the Hard Rock Hotel too early to check in so we dumped our bags with the bell desk and  went for a bite to eat at the Hard Rock Cafe and then to check out the amazing pools. When the Wandering Child came down those stairs and saw the size of the pools he was beside himself and couldn’t wait to get his splash on.

There are 2 sets of water slides suitable for all ages and then a huge free from lagoon style swimming pool (complete with a swim up bar) and sand bottomed beach style pool where you can play beach volleyball or shoot some hoops and also a splash water park for young children (probably most suitable for those under around 10 years of age.) The little guy had trouble deciding where to begin but the kids splash water park won the rock, paper, scissors debate so in he plunged.

Our room was lovely with a large bed, cool cool air-con, a day bed and a bathroom with a giant bath tub just calling for bubbles. Rooms also come with a coffee machine (thank you Hard Rock) and recent movies on demand on the TV. The child chilled on the day bed in our room watching the latest Chipmunks movie and once he crashed out for the night I had a giggle at How to be single.

Overall this resort is a true family oasis, if you never wanted to leave you’d never have to. There is more than enough within the grounds of the hotel to keep the whole family entertained but if you do choose to venture out its in a perfect spot for exploring.

For single parents the Hard Rock Hotel is ideal; it is totally self contained, anything you need is available here massages, food, medical help, baby sitting, kids club all of your needs are catered to making it a super easy destination for those of us travelling on our own with kids or even those on a first overseas family adventure who are feeling nervous.

We love love love this hotel. The Hard Rock Hotel makes it hard to stay anywhere else!

Thanks to the Hard Rock for hosting our stay. As always all opinions are my own.

They have a range of rooms Tyler. Many standard rooms have 2 queen sized beds so depending on your family that may suit? There are also awesome kids suites which look amazing!
