Shrekfast is the ultimate dining experience for fans of Dreamworks movies. Shrekfast is a themed buffet breakfast held at The Holiday Inn hotel at the Sands Cotai Strip in Macau.

Breakfast is served in a couple of timed sessions the food is great and varied, there is something to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters and there a re both western and local options available. You can enjoy Po panda rice buns, Gingy Gingerbread men, dragon eggs and more.

There are 2 MC’s who host Shrekfast and bring great energy to the event, one speaks Mandarin and the other English and they introduce movie by movie and bring out the characters. there is dancing, music and a great atmosphere. The characters come down from the stage and make their way to each table for hugs, high fives and photo opportunities. Several of the characters remain on the stage and diners go up to see them (such as Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon.)

The cast of characters cover those from your favourite Dreamworks films; Toothless, Hiccup and Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon, Alex, Gloria, King Julien and the Penguins from Madagascar, Peabody and Sherman, The Croods, Po and Tigress from Kung Fu Panda, Puss In Boots, and of course Shrek and Fiona. Each of the performers really get into their role and have great fun with kids.

Guests are given little bits and pieces to take home such as balloons and a Dreamworks fan. Photos and souvenirs are available for purchase.

Shrekfast is well worth the cost at MOP 238 for adults (approx $40) children at MOP 138 (approx $23) and family tickets for MOP 688 (around $118) , its great fun for the whole family and your kids will be hugely impressed.
