We recently checked in to the Bali Paragon resort for a 3 night stay. We were excited to find a really reasonably priced hotel in Bali with great kids facilities. Bali Paragon has both a water slide and a brand new children’s playground located in kids club. Unfortunately our 3 night stay turned into only a 1 night stay when my son became sick on our second morning and we had to leave.

The Bali Paragon resort is newly opened and all the facilities are virtually brand new. The decor of the resort is lovely and the rooms are clean, gorgeous and spacious. We were in pool front rooms which have a small balcony outside and pool frontage.

The hotels location isΒ isolated if you’re on foot but all the big western take away chains are within a couple of minutes walk (if you are travelling with fussy little ones and need those) but other restaurants are a easy taxi ride away and you will be spoilt for restaurant choice along Jimbaran Beach. We requested a taxi and had one within a minute so transport it easy to come by.

We loved the facilities of the resort and we had the pool and water slide all to ourselves for the whole day (and the kids certainly made the most of it!!).

We ate in the restaurant and again had the place to ourselves. Food was quick to come out and enjoyed by all. Restaurant staff were not able to make any menu alterations.

We didn’t leave the kids at kids club (as we just didn’t have time during our short stay) just went for a quick visit to check it out, the facilities look great and there is a neat rope climbing ladder that The Wandering Child wants to try out on his next stay. The staff in the kids club seemed really lovely and super friendly. The outdoor playground is great and it was difficult to get the kids out of there.

Breakfast has the usual spread with pastries, juices, fruit, eggs and Asian offerings. We ate breakfast early and had a virtually empty restaurant.

The hotel were very accommodating in putting us in rooms next to our friends that were staying at the same time. Pool front rooms don’t have interconnecting rooms but Deluxe rooms do. Our rooms were comfortable and lovely but a tour group returned to the hotel around 8pm and were very very noisy at the pool that night so if you have light sleepers the pool rooms are probably not for you or inquire with the hotel if they have tour groups staying during your stay before choosing the pool front room..

A lot of care to provide great facilities at this hotel and it is certainly a low cost option compared with other Bali hotels offering kids facilities; Deluxe rooms are often around $50 AUD per night which is a bargain.

Thank you to the Bali Paragon Resort for hosting our stay, as always all opinions are my own.
